Hi, all, if you are a prelicensed MFT (Trainee or Intern), or you are a professor in an MFT program or a Clinical Supervisor to Trainees, Interns, please read on:
I am trying to start up a Prelicensed MFT Support Group:
Address: 3855 E. La Palma, Anaheim, California, 92807
Time and Day Held: TBD (likely will be an evening group once weekly)
$30 per session
My therapuetic style is mostly Cog-B, Solution-Focused, and in a group format, also interpersonal process oriented.
Here's the ad description I have for this group on Psychology Today:
Need a place to vent your worries and frustrations? Pursuing licensure can be an exciting time in your life, but it can also be a stressful and worrisome time as the process can sometimes feel like a long road traveled. Come receive support from other prelicensed folk who understand. Some extra bonuses: *The BBS will triple count personal psychotherapy hours (100 hours x 3 = 300) and a group format helps you to max out on those hours faster than individual therapy would! *Your clients will benefit more from having a therapist who spends time on ensuring self-care!
If you are interested, or know someone who may be interested, please have them contact me at (714) 747-6959.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Sandra Wolf, MFT
