Hello. I have a general question. I have taken a three week "leave" from my practice for surgery. I am considering sending reminder notices to my clients re: their appointments for the week I return to the office. I know this can become a therapeutic issue - i.e., they are supposed to be responsible for keeping appointments, even after an absence, an they are all aware of my no-show payment policy - so if I do send the notices out, its really more for my schedule than it is to take care of my clients - I don't want to be stuck with a lot of down time because of missed appointments! Any thoughts on this topic are welcome.
Thank you.

Hi

I think it's a good idea to send out reminders. When I've done it, I often just printed out statements from my billing program and written a short note on each one (even if they don't have a balance). I think clients appreciate the reminder and the confirmation after an absence.

The only exception would be for those clients who have specifically requested no mail to their houses.

Hope all goes well for you
